Dr Renly Lim, a pharmacist and researcher, is on a mission to empower children and families with knowledge on the safe and effective use of medicines.
She lives in Adelaide with her husband and two young children. When she’s not immersed in research, you’ll usually find her deep in magical storybooks with her kids (or being persuaded to read “just one more”).
Originally from Malaysia, Renly adores Malaysian street food, but she's equally addicted to raspberries and blueberries.

A little about Jack
Dr Jack Janetzki, a pharmacist and pharmacoepidemiologist, is passionate about improving the way medicines are used through research, education and development of evidence-informed policy.
Based in Adelaide, Jack combines his academic work with clinical pharmacy practice. When he’s not teaching, researching or working in the pharmacy, you’ll find him out and about on an adventure with his three children and wife.
Originally from a country town, Jack has a soft spot for regional Australia and the important role pharmacists play in local communities. He’s also a firm believer that good research should ultimately make a difference to the people who use medicines.
Jun Min is a Malaysian designer and illustrator with a love for creating, exploring and telling stories through visuals. With a background in 3D, events and spatial design, she enjoys bringing ideas to life through both immersive event spaces and illustrations.
Outside of work, she loves drawing, cycling around, travelling to discover new sceneries and finding cosy cafés for good food along the way. She finds inspiration in the places she visits, the things she sees and the little moments that make everyday life interesting.

Hudson's story
One of the most meaningful outcomes of Pharmacy Adventure has been seeing how stories can help children understand and talk about challenging health experiences.
Michelle, whose son Hudson nearly died after a tenfold medication overdose, shared how the book supported her family during their recovery journey:
“Your book is helping him find the words for such a big and confusing experience at such a young age, and I just wanted to say thank you for creating something that gives children a way to talk about their health in a safe and accessible way.
It’s given us a way to have conversations we didn’t know how to start, and I cried last night when he made those comments [about his medicine overdose] because it felt like he finally understood.”
